The SH106BR Automatic Open Flash Point and Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the People's Republic of China standard GB/T 3536ASTMD92 "Petroleum Products - Determination of Flash Point and Flash Point (Cleveland Open Cup Method)" and GB/T267-1988, ASTMD92 Petroleum Products - Determination of Flash Point and Flash Point (Open Cup Method).

Open flash point testers are mostly used for lubricating oils and heavy petroleum products, because when measured with this product, the vapor formed by heating petroleum products continuously diffuses into the surrounding air, resulting in a higher measured flash point. For most lubricating oils and heavy oils, especially when used in unsealed parts or at low temperatures, even a small amount of light admixtures will evaporate during use, without posing a risk of ignition or explosion. Therefore, these products are measured using an open flash point tester.
